Cookie policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This page lists everything AyediaBoardstores on your device. Most of it is not strictly a cookie — we use your browser’s local storage where we can, because unlike a cookie it is never sent to a server. We have listed it here anyway, since what matters to you is what is kept, not the mechanism.
The short version
We use a small number of essential items to keep you signed in and remember how you like the interface. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. The only optional item is product analytics, and nothing for it loads until you accept — not the script, not a request, nothing.
Essential
These do not need consent, because the service cannot work without them. They are set whether or not you accept analytics.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Cookie (httpOnly) | Keeps you signed in. Written so that page scripts cannot read it, which is what stops a script stealing your session. | On sign-out or expiry |
ayediaboard.consent | Local storage | Your answer to the cookie banner. Essential for the obvious reason: forgetting it means asking you again on every page. | Until cleared |
ayediaboard.sidebar.collapsed | Local storage | Whether you collapsed the dashboard sidebar. | Until cleared |
ayediaboard.onboarding.minimised | Local storage | Whether you minimised the setup checklist. | Until cleared |
The last two record a preference you expressed by clicking the control itself. They never leave your device and nobody else reads them.
Optional: analytics
If you accept, we load PostHog to understand which pages get used and where people give up, so we can fix the parts that do not work. It is hosted in the EU, and requests go through our own domain rather than to PostHog directly, so no third party sees your IP address from simply loading a page.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_*_posthog | Cookie and local storage | A random identifier that lets us count one person visiting three pages as one visit rather than three. It is not linked to your name or email. | 12 months |
We do not record your screen, and we do not use analytics for advertising. Page addresses are recorded without their query strings, apart from campaign tags, so a sign-in link containing a token is never sent.
Changing your mind
You can accept or refuse at any time, and refusing is exactly as easy as accepting: .
Withdrawing does not just stop future collection — it deletes the identifier already stored and reloads the page so the analytics code is gone from memory entirely. Your essential preferences above are untouched.
You can also block or delete storage in your browser settings. Blocking the essential items will stop you being able to sign in.
